Hello and welcome to the cover reveal for C.M. Caplan’s next fantasy novel, The Fall is All There Is! As many of you know, I am a huge fan of Caplan’s debut The Sword in the Street. If you haven’t already read it, you can check out my review of it here. The short of it though is that Caplan is one of the best character writers I have ever read, in addition to writing in wonderful neurodivergent representation. Needless to say, I am super excited to be revealing the cover of The Fall is All There Is and I am practically buzzing over the fact that I have a shiny ARC queued up in my Kindle ready to read.
Springtide Harvest is a very strong debut, which is well-paced and builds to a satisfying conclusion, that left me wanting more. It could comfortably remain as a standalone novel, but I believe there is more than enough from this world, its characters, and ending, to justify a second book or series. There are certain plot-threads and aspects of the story, like the dungeons, that I would like to learn more about. I would definitely return to read more from this world and its characters; I feel that we have only just scratched the surface of what this story has to offer.
Today I have the privilege, nay, the honor of revealing the cover to the third book of the Hybrid Helix by JCM Berne. This series has quickly become one of my favorites and I have eagerly been looking forward to the third installment that will be release on October 31st.
I joined a Hollywood pitch conference in 2017, before Penchant for Darkness had been fully fleshed out, to see if my pitch would catch interest. It did, and a production company asked for my synopsis. I was elated, my story caught someone’s eye. However, two months later, I received a rejection email. They would pass […]
The Iron Crown lives up to the hype. It reminds me of the epic fantasy novels that I grew up with. The magic is intriguing and creates a world that is fascinating to discover as the pages rapidly turn. It is engaging, exciting, and many other things. It also has a unique take on dragons that makes it a lot of fun to read and to figure out how it all works out in the grand scheme of things. The characters are beautifully flawed, with each having a weakness to either overcome or succumb to.
Hello everyone and welcome to my stop on the Escapist Book Tours virtual book tour for J. Elizaga’s Sci-Fi/Paranormal Thriller novel Penchant for Darkness! Today, I am excited to help kickoff the tour by sharing an interview with the main character of the book, Miles!

I cannot recommend this book enough. If you are a lover of all things fantasy, then you will absolutely adore this story. It is a big cosy fantasy hug of a book – packed with action, adventure, emotion, some dark moments balanced with good humour, and fantastic characters you will love. If you are looking for a standalone fantasy epic that really does have it all, then look no further. You will be far from underwhelmed.
This is a novel that will make your head spin!! It will show you how crazy the human mind could be to itself, with the twists and turns of a supernatural thriller. The writing will pull you in, making you feel as if you are living the life of the main character. It will make you ponder the true depths of the imaginations and what is real. There is a complete possibility that we may be living in a dream…
The Created was a clever mix of alien species and technology. It is a fast read and will definitely get the mind thinking about what technology could be used for in the future. It is an enjoyable read, even if it the parts were very distinct in the writing and feel. And once in a while, it might be necessary to check that potted plant that seems to be moving when you’re not watching it.
