Bloodlines is a blend of science-fiction, urban fantasy, and paranormal—three genres I happen to love. Add to the mix a good mystery to solve, and I’m a happy reader.

Review: Light Fighters (Star Children Saga #2) by Palmer Pickering
The author takes everything from book one and continues to make it even better. The story picks up immediately where it should, in the middle of the action cliffhanger that was book one. It continues to flesh out the world, answering questions and setting up everything for a saga that promises to remain in the minds of readers. As the story continues to unfold, you can see the planning and care that the author has taken in crafting what is turning out to be a beautiful world or universe. Each floating strand from book one is carefully grabbed and meticulously placed to continue the story being woven in front of us.
Book Tour/Review: Moon Deeds (Star Children Saga #1) by Palmer Pickering
Moon Deeds is an ambitious science-fantasy space opera, that follows twins Cassidy and Torr. With strong world-building and an intriguing magic system, the mix of dystopian science fiction and fantasy elements are blended together into a convincing narrative.
Review: Moon Deeds (Star Children Saga #1) by Palmer Pickering
This is a futuristic tale of invasion that adds some of the really cool magic elements that I always like in a true epic fantasy. I really liked the world that was developed, with the tension between surviving and escaping. The emotions of the characters were real and the questions of what was happening definitely can hook a reader into wanting to know more. Make sure that you have your deed and claim a parcel of the moon to sit back and enjoy a good read of Sci-Fi magic adventure.
Review: Blood Reunion (Hybrid Helix #3) by JCM Berne
Rohan is the hero that we all want to be! This series continues to be something that is special and intriguing. I am fully invested into this series and this entry did not disappoint. It blew me away with every twist and turn, adding to a rich world in all of the right ways. This is a novel that will stick with a reader for days, making them ponder what the next adventure will be for Rohan and company. Rohan will continue to pull me along on his adventures and I look forward to them all!
Review: Alien Advantage by Lorain O’Neil
A fast standalone read, with a normal character trying to outthink the world just so he can be free. It is not science heavy, allowing for all types of readers to enter into its world and find the hope amidst the chaos of a frantic pursuit. It will make readers think about what would happen to them if they happened to be abducted and thrust into a world that was previously hidden to them. Overall, a pretty decent adventure that will keep people guessing right up to the very end.
Review: Return of the Griffin (Hybrid Helix #2) by JCM Berne
Return of the Griffin is a return to excellence! The author does a fantastic job of continuing the story of our favorite superhero that constantly finds himself in new situations. This series constantly continues to show the promise of a long running new epic of a superhero. I am thrilled to constantly return to this universe. Let Rohan fly you into another great adventure!!
Book Review/Tour: The Black Skald’s Verse (The Dreadbound Ode #1) by Jordan Loyal Short
The Skald’s Black Verse is a fast-paced, twisty thrill ride. A dark fantasy with well realized characters and bloody violence, grimdark fans will be very pleased with this book
Review: Wistful Ascending (Hybrid Helix #1) by JCM Berne
This feels like a series that could go as long as it wants, the character being one that is deep and interesting to read about. It will appeal to fans of the trope of the retired assassin as well as that of the classic super hero. I look forward to the future additions to this series. I encourage you, turn off your engines, sit back, and let Rohan take you on a ride.
Review: Light Of The Jedi (Star Wars: The High Republic) by Charles Soule
I was really excited to start my Star Wars journey this year. I set myself a goal, and it was to read (or attempt) to read all canon Star Wars books this year or for as long as it takes me because I am a slow reader. I found a list on Wookipedia that gave me the perfect order to follow and started with Light Of The Jedi.
