If you like D&D/MMO vibes, I encourage you to check out The Dark Profit Saga (Dragonfired is book 3.) It’s a ton of fun.
Epic Fantasy
Review: Lord and King (The Drowned Kingdom Saga #3) by P.L. Stuart
Lord and King is a great continuation of P.L. Stuart’s epic fantasy series. I’ll be watching for book 4.
Review: Path of the Warrior (Keverynn Trilogy #1) by Melissa Stone
A unique epic/portal fantasy with expansive worldbuilding.
BOOK TOUR/REVIEW: Sea of Souls (Sea of Souls Saga #1) by N.C. Scrimgeour
Sea of Souls has a unique take on selkie mythology and a wonderful cast of characters, laying the foundation for what promises to be a great series.
Review: The Second Stone (The Triempery Revelations #3) by L.L. Stephens
The Second Stone is the third book in the Triempery Revelations series, and another excellent continuation of the storyline.
BOOK TOUR/REVIEW: The Forbidden Realms (The Fallen Light #2) by H.C. Newell
Full of twists and turns, action, character development The Forgotten Realms continues Neer’s story brilliantly and introduces intriguing and exciting revelations to the lore and overall story of the Fallen Light series, which is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.
Review: Elder Epoch (Gunmetal Gods Saga #3) by Zamil Akhtar
“Our holy fire will chase all rats out of their roosts. We must armor our hearts with faith as we do our bodies with iron.”
BOOK TOUR/REVIEW: The Price of Power (The Price of Power #1) by Michael Michel
The Price of Power is a slow burn, character driven, dark and epic fantasy. With a world steeped in history and lore, fascinating magic, terrifying villains (The Madness is a new favorite of mine) and characters you can relate to, if not eventually love. Michael Michel is on to something special here and I cannot wait to see what he has in store for us next.
BOOK TOUR/REVIEW: The Talisman of Delucha (The Relics of War #2) by A.J. Calvin
If you loved The Moon’s Eye, chances are you’re going to love The Talisman of Delucha just as much, if not more. With higher stakes, bigger battles and higher emotions, A.J. Calvin avoids middle-book-syndrome by allowing the story and characters to naturally grow while still maintaining a break neck pace. The Talisman of Delucha truly delivers the EPIC in epic fantasy.
Review: Conqueror’s Blood (Gunmetal Gods Saga #2) by Zamil Akhtar
While reading (and re-reading) Gunmetal Gods, book 1 in the Gunmetal Gods saga, I didn’t think the story could get any more compelling. Boy, was I wrong! Conqueror’s Blood takes everything that I loved about Book 1 and makes it even better.
Review: Platinum Tinted Darkness (The Legacy of Boulom #1) by Timothy Wolff
With extensive worldbuilding and lore, memorable characters, and a series of untrustworthy gods, this is an entertaining read – and a great debut novel.
BOOK TOUR/REVIEW: Curse of the Fallen (Fallen Light #1) by H.C. Newell
I’ll just get this out of the way, I love this book so fucking much. H.C. Newell has tapped into something here that just worked for me. The world is fascinating, the lore is immersive and the characters are fantastic.
