May 13, 2023 by Justin Gross

Hello and thank you for your interest in being a part of the virtual book tour for Sev Romero’s Sci-Fi novel, Hello Darkness! We’re so excited to hold a 7-day virtual tour, consisting of 7-15 stops, and would love for you to be a part of it.

For this tour, we’re looking for 7+ bloggers, bookstagrammers, TikTokers, or YouTubers to show some love for Hello Darkness through reviews, guest features, spotlights, interviews with the author, or any other creative posts. The tour will run from June 29th – July 5th and hosts will be given complimentary eBooks, with limited physical copies available upon request (AU/US/UK Only). This tour is open internationally.

Please note that filling out the following form will not guarantee you a place on the tour schedule, as the spots are limited. However, we want you to know how much we appreciate your interest and hope you’ll consider joining us as we roll out the “read” carpet and celebrate amazing SFF.

Chosen participants will be contacted via a confirmation email. NOTE: Please whitelist our email address (escapistbooktours@gmail.com) as we have had many issues crop up with our emails being flagged as spam. Please be advised that failure to post on the date of your tour stop may keep you from being selected to participate in future tours.

Book Blurb:

We all carry the insidious disorder—a ticking time bomb that can explode at any moment with murderous consequences.

There are no answers, no cure, and seemingly no hope.

Rye Thorburn is a member of a rapid response team that scouts the night skies and responds to each frightening outbreak, confronting its violent perpetrators in a deadly game of cat and mouse. For Rye, it’s more than a job—it’s his refuge from his conscience.

Faced with this unprecedented threat, society has become an enclave of autocratic leaders, invasive high-tech security, corporate propaganda, and a populace sick with fear and suspicion.

However, all is not what it seems. Rye and his colleague Kate Mbachi become entangled in a conspiracy that involves a ruthless scientist and powerful hidden forces that thrive from suffering.

Can Rye overcome his demons to expose the horrifying truth before all is lost?

Hello Darkness is a pulsating dystopian thriller, set in the near-future. Readers who love the grim, gripping worlds of Cormac McCarthy, Emily St. John Mandel and Margaret Atwood will be swept away by this heart-racing novel.

About Justin Gross

Justin is a lover of all things SFF and has been an avid reader since he was three. He is attempting to build the world’s largest private library (not really, but ask his wife and she might agree). Justin is always excited to gush over his favorite reads, which more often than not are also his latest reads. He likes trend toward sweeping epics, with complex characters and even more complex plots. Until recently he was totally against romance, but certain books have shown him that it can be done well. He currently has a love/hate relationship with grimdark.
