Review: Bone Shroud (Kallatian Saga #2) by Andrew D Meredith

Rating: 10/10

Blurb:

Secrets deepen — Prophecies doom — Shadows grow

The errors of yesterday continue to haunt Hanen and Rallia Clouw, though deeper secrets from their past reveal an even darker future.

A rift in the order of the paladins threatens to tear wide open, and Jined Brazstein is all that stands in the gap.

A dark prophecy wilts the sisterhood, as Katiam Borreau is cast away to a land beyond the edge of any dream.

The blind monk Seriah Yaledít has never feared death, until she becomes sole witness to a ghastly murder.

While darkness stirs, nightmares become flesh, heretical schism looms, and contracts bind souls, an unseen figure walks in shadow wearing a cloak formed of countless bone made from his victims.

All would be heroes must give their lives,

Or be made illustration—

For those who’ve still to come and try,

To fall or rise,

Above their station.

Review:

Amazing. Incredible. Jaw dropping. All terms that can be used to describe this novel and yet at the same time they do not do it justice. The author does a fantastic job of enriching the world in every way imaginable, as I often say, every grain of sand has been meticulously placed with the utmost care. The intrigue, the characters, the world are all enhanced in every single way. The pace is definitely ramped up, creating a dynamic that will force the reader to begin to choose sides.

The world once again takes the cake as the most incredible part of this wonderful novel. It is a world that the author has a ton of love for, knowing every centimeter of what has happened, is currently happening, and will happen. It engrosses a reader in its promise, and consistently delivers over and over again. The characters are all unique as well, each with their own desires and goals. Familiar favorites are once again present with a dash of new faces to keep it interesting and adding a new level as well.

The Kallatian Saga has every right to be compared to Middle Earth, but surpasses it in the things that I like most. I am fully engrossed and eagerly look forward to each installment of this amazing series. Everyone should give this one a chance, even if it is to just be blown away by the incredible author. Now it is time for you to quit reading my words, and read a master of his craft. Just absolutely amazing.

Thank you for taking the time to read my review. As always, happy reading and Stay Great!!
