THE LAST FRAGMENTS OF THE HUMAN RACE ARE FORCED TO ADAPT TO A DANGEROUS NEW WORLD OR FACE EXTINCTION.

When starship mechanic, Denton Castus, is caught in the destructive path of a devastating war, he abandons his home and seeks refuge on a distant planet. However, this new safe haven has undiscovered threats of its own. Eliana Veston, a scout preparing the planet for the refugees, struggles with a deadly pandemic that is killing off colonists. The hunt for a cure unleashes a new threat to humanity—the Sirens—mysterious beings with incredible powers and a deep hatred for invaders.

Review:

This is one wild ride! From the start this book had me hooked from the stunning world it describes. There are many times that I lost track of time delving into the universe that the author brings to life in a beautiful form. The science isn’t overdone, but is intriguing enough to make the reader understand that this is far more advanced than what most people would consider normal. It uses the medium of time to introduce and keep the reader moving at a great pace, making multiple story lines more intriguing until they come crashing together in an exciting and dramatic way.

The characters of this book are very strong, each becoming very interesting and having their own history. This includes the side characters. Each was a joy to read and definitely added to the story without being convenient. There were times of laughter, times of tears, and times were my breath was held as I awaited the outcome of what might happen.

This is a book that will cater to any that really love their Science Fiction reads. It is contained to one world, that is brought to life over and over again with amazing attention to detail, with a hint of what might be happening in the further reaches of the universe. I can tell that this is one that will hook the readers and make them stay for the long haul. I know that I was able to sit back and really enjoy this one! If you listen carefully, you will hear these pages sing the correct song of harmony telling you to read them.

Thanks for taking the time to read my review. Happy reading, and as always Stay Great!!
